Information to Submit Payment for Annual Dues
Membership Pricing
The Global Social Work Network has established a scaled method of determining annual dues in an attempt to make membership to the GSWN fair, reasonable, and affordable to all social work professionals worldwide. We feel that equal accessibility, regardless of geographic location or economic disparity, is in keeping with the values of social work in general- and the spirit of the GSWN mission in particular.
Professional Membership dues are $55.00 USD or $35.00 USD, to be collected annually, depending on the Country Category of the individual seeking membership. In addition, we are now offering Student Membership rates at $35.00 USD-$15.00 USD depending on the Country Category of the student's University location.
One may visit the comprehensive country list below to determine your membership dues rate. Final determination of country classification is at the discretion of the GSWN and subject to verification. Please note: Student Memberships are limited to three year terms and will then be converted to Professional Membership rates.
We also offer lifetime memberships ($550.00) and corporate memberships ($350.00). Membership terms are at the discretion of the GSWN president. Please direct inquiries regarding payment at membership@gswn.com.

The World Bank uses several indicators to determine the level of economic development of each country and its respective standard of living. Each has been assigned to one of two categories (see the country listing below for all category assignments). The categories were determined through use of statistics from the World Bank, and World Fact Book 2002 Gross Domestic Product per capita (purchasing power parity) figures by country. The country in which a person resides, or the country claimed by the individual as his/ her country of permanent residency, or his/her employer's country headquarters (whichever is greater) will serve to determine which Country Category applies. GSWN reserves the right to make the final determination on a case by case basis to determine eligibility for a particular category, and to amend this listing as appropriate without notice. Membership prices may change annually, as required. Students studying abroad are deemed to be residents of their country of permanent residency, not the country in which they are studying. To determine which category your country has been assigned, please check the listing below. |
